Prof. Brij B. Gupta received the PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India. In more than 17 years of his professional experience, he published over 475 papers in journals/conferences including 30 books and 11 patents with over 18,000 citations. He has received numerous national and international awards including Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship (2009) from the Govt. of Canada, Faculty Research Fellowship Award (2017), MeitY, GoI, Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award (2017) and Bharat Vikas Award (2017), IEEE GCCE outstanding and WIE paper awards and Best Faculty Award (2018 & 2019), NIT Kurukshetra, etc. Prof. Gupta is also serving as Distinguished Research Scientist with LoginRadius Inc., USA, which is one of leading cybersecurity companies in the world, especially in the field of customer identity and access management (CIAM). Prof. Gupta is also included in the list of Clarivate’s 2022 Highly Cited Researcher in Computer Science. He is also selected in the 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020 Stanford University's Ranking of the World's Top 2% Scientists. He is also a visiting/adjunct professor with several universities worldwide. 

He is also an IEEE Senior Member (2017) and ACM Senior Member (2021) and also selected as 2021 Distinguished Lecturer in IEEE CTSoc. Dr. Gupta is also serving as Member-in-Large, Board of Governors, IEEE Consumer Technology Society (2022-2024). Prof. Gupta is also leading IJSWIS, IJSSCI and IJCAC, IGI Global, as Editor-in-Chief. Moreover, he is also serving as lead-editor of a Book Series with CRC, World Scientific and IET Press. He also served as TPC members of more than 150 conferences and organized/special session chairs in ICCE-2021, GCCE 2014-2021 and TPC Chair in 2018 INFOCOM: CCSNA Workshop, Publicity Co-chair in 2020 ICCCN, etc. Dr. Gupta is also serving/served as Associate/Guest Editor of IEEE TII, IEEE TITS, IoT, IEEE Big Data, ASOC, FGCS, etc. He also worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in UNB, Canada for short duration. He was also visiting researcher with Yamaguchi University, Japan, with Deakin University, Australia and with Swinburne University of Technology, Australia during January 2015 and 2018, July 2017, and March-April 2018, respectively. Moreover, he was also Visiting Professor in University of Murcia, Spain, University of Naples Federico II, Italy, and University of Salerno, Italy in June-July, 2018. Additionally, he was Visiting Professor with Temple University, USA and Staffordshire University, UK during June 2019 and July 2020, respectively. He is also working as honorary Associate Professor with Macquarie University, Australia and Distinguished Adjunct Professor, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, respectively. He is also associated as visiting scholar with Staffordshire University, UK. He is also working with IIIT Pune, India as Visiting Professor. At present, Prof. Gupta is working as Director, International Center for AI and Cyber Security Research and Innovations, and Full Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE), Asia University, Taiwan, China.
