Abstract
Rural community tourism (RCT) represents a kind of tourism based on rural community where local population takes control over the process and major of benefits. For tourists, it focuses on actively participating in a rural lifestyle. For destinations, it contributes to the socioeconomic and sustainable development of the country.
Nelly Condori-Fernandez from Peru and his colleagues researched to develop an Intelligent Platform (IP) that meets the needs of the different stakeholders of the RCT and published in Spanish. It’s our honor to get the authorization to translate it into English and republish on Smart Tourism. Furthermore, we collect detailed cases involving Chinese rural tourism such as the seedbed of Han culture Barkol, Shangluo and rural tourism in Fujian Province. Other related articles are also contained.
