Special Issue Information
Metaverse is a technology that projects the real world into a virtual environment using virtual reality, augmented reality, and the internet. It provides opportunities for people to engage in work, learning, life, socializing, and even economic activities, thereby achieving the integration of the real world and the virtual world. While the concept of metaverse originally appeared in science fiction novels, it has received significant attention in 2021. Recently, with the rise of large-scale artificial intelligence models, new opportunities have emerged for the development of the Metaverse.
This special issue is an opportunity for researchers and developers in the field of Metaverse to share their achievements in the theme of metaverse technologies and their applications in education from different perspectives such as theory, technology, and application. The topics of this special issue include, but are not limited to:
