A special issue is calling for papers about the art in the Metaverse.

If there's one thing that's the talk of the town today, it must be the Metaverse. Generally, the Metaverse has been described as the fourth internet revolution, a virtual society and social network that mirrors real scenarios through a decentralized architecture. Blending with virtual reality, augmented reality, sensorial technology and spatial computing, the Metaverse promises to give us new experiences from our couches or cubicles.

So how did Metaverse affect the art exactly? The Metaverse will regard the art as the first key to open the door to the new world.
