Abstract
Special populations are vulnerable to cardiovascular diseases. In the second issue of Cardiac and Cardiovascular Research (CCR), three articles are about special populations. Dr. Yanxiao Wang et al. analyzed the epidemic trends and risk factors of cardiovascular disease (CVD) burden in China by gender and age.
