Special Issue Information

In our journal Advances in Analytic Science, a special issue is calling for papers about the advances in analytical equipment.

Analytical science seeks ever-improving means to measure the chemical composition, structure, and morphology of natural or man-made substances (solids, fluids, gases), or entities (cells, complex materials). It involves a lot of fields including bioanalytical chemistry, chemical analysis, environmental sciences, food science, medical sciences, forensics, and so on.

Analytical instruments are a large class of instruments used for analytical applications in chemical, clinical, pharmaceutical, food-processing laboratories, and oil refineries. Scientists or labs build the instruments into equipment, then the materials composition can be established.

Analytical equipment is a big world. You will encounter a lot of instruments in a related lab, such as drug testing systems, Gas Chromatography (GC), Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), Glow Discharge Mass Spectrometry (GD-MS), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Ion Chromatography (IC), Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES), Ion Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (IC-MS), isotope analysis systems, Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IR-MS), Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS), organic elemental analysis systems, pH titrator, trace elemental analysis system, wet chemistry system, etc.

In this issue, we are looking forward to concentrating our topics on the equipment used in analytical science. The utilization, the pros and cons, the advances of any equipment, equipment in different subjects, and the method of building analytical equipment or other related topics are highly welcome.
