Section Collection Information

Dear colleagues,

The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimated that ambient air pollution accounted for 600,000 premature deaths in the European region and 7 million worldwide. As we continue to grapple with the devastating effects of pollution on human health, it is imperative that we explore innovative solutions to manage this global challenge.

The section collection "Pollution Management" sheds light on various aspects of environmental health, including the exposome, air pollution, and environmental assessment.

The topics include but are not limited to the importance of personal devices in monitoring and managing pollution levels, the concept of ecofoodfertility as a potential strategy for mitigating the effects of pollutants on human health, the impact of pollutants on human semen and blood, the need for effective pollution management strategies.

This proposal joins Ecofoodfertility initiative a multicenter biomonitoring study (www.ecofoodfertility.it) regarding the influence of environmental conditions on human health.

We hope that this section collection will serve as a valuable platform for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners as we work towards a cleaner and healthier future.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
