Dear Colleagues,
Management characteristics are associated with a more proactive environmental management orientation. Investment decisions, termed an environmental technology, is intimately linked to the environmental management orientation. Environmental technologies limit or reduce the negative impacts of a product or service on the natural environment.
Pollution prevention involves fundamental changes to the basic product or primary process to reduce any negative environmental impact.The utilization of ecofriendly alternative sources of energy (biomass, hydro and solar) is necessary for neutral atmospheric CO2 emissions.
Investments in quality improvement, also may have a positive impact on the environment (waste reduction). Product adaptation modify an existing products design to reduce any negative impact on the environment during manufacturing, use, disposal, or reuse. Green technology innovation can act as a tool for managing the economic-environmental conflict.
Development of the technology has a major reason to bring efficiency to the present solutions, make them ecofriendly, more productive, and agile. The digital revolution proved to be key to success, keeping the easiness and efficiency in operation interaction between the business, customer, technology, and environment.
The primary aim of this Section is to encourage researchers to publish their research in connection to environment protecting technologies. Original research papers and review articles are welcomed.
