Dear Colleagues,

The molecular basis of biological processes refers to the chemical and physical interactions that occur at the molecular level within living organisms. These interactions are fundamental to the functioning of cells, tissues, organs, and entire organisms. One of the key processes that occurs at the molecular level is gene expression, which involves the transcription of DNA into RNA and the translation of RNA into proteins.   This process is regulated by a complex network of molecular interactions that involve DNA-binding proteins, transcription factors, and other regulatory molecules. Other important molecular processes include signal transduction, which involves the transmission of signals between cells, and metabolism, which involves the chemical transformations that occur within cells to produce energy and synthesize new molecules.

The topics involved in the molecular basis of biological processes include gene expression, transcription, translation, signal transduction, metabolism, genetic mutations, and their roles in health and disease. Other related topics may include DNA replication, protein structure and function, and molecular interactions between cells and their environment.

Advances in molecular biology have led to a deeper understanding of these processes and their roles in health and disease. For example, researchers have identified genetic mutations that can lead to diseases such as cancer, and have developed targeted therapies that exploit these molecular vulnerabilities. These researches are of great significance to social development and human progress.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
