In our journal Advances in Modern Agriculture, a special issue is calling for papers about technology in modern agriculture.

Agriculture is the most important sector in the world, providing food for human beings. The agricultural sector is the second largest source of employment after the service sector, accounting for 28% of global employment. Around 1.3 billion people are employed in the agricultural sector. Agricultural innovations and farming practices make agriculture modern, where efficiency is increased and the amount of natural resources needed to meet the world's food, fuel and fiber demands are reduced.

Modern agriculture often uses sophisticated technology such as robots, temperature and humidity sensors, aerial imagery and GPS technology. These advanced devices and precision farming and robotic systems make the business more profitable, efficient, safe and environmentally friendly.

In addition, we need to educate farmers to use modern agriculture technologies that make farming easier and more affordable. Warning of crises before they occur can help us to reduce the chances of loss and empower the global agricultural sector.

In this issue, we are going to collect, apply and disseminate modern agricultural projects. The achievements of modern agriculture on a wider scale are facilitated by the use of high technology. Potential topics are suggested but not limited to the agricultural device, the technology used in farming different plants, the impact of technology on agriculture, the evolution of agricultural technology, robotic systems, etc.
