Dear colleagues,

Cancer therapy is used to describe the various treatments available for cancer patients. These treatments can be divided into three main categories: surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. Surgery involves the removal of the cancerous tumor, while radiation therapy uses high-energy radiation to kill cancer cells. Chemotherapy, on the other hand, uses drugs to kill cancer cells throughout the body.

Other cancer therapies include targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, and stem cell transplant.Targeted therapy focuses on specific molecules that are involved in cancer growth and development. Immunotherapy uses the body's immune system to fight cancer cells. Hormone therapy is used to treat cancers that are hormone-sensitive, such as breast and prostate cancer. Stem cell transplant involves replacing damaged bone marrow with healthy stem cells.

The type of cancer therapy used depends on the type and stage of cancer, as well as the patient's overall health. Cancer therapy can have side effects, such as fatigue, nausea, and hair loss. However, advances in cancer research have led to new therapies with fewer side effects and better outcomes for patients.

We look forward to contributions from research in the field of cancer therapy.
