Section Collection Information

Dear Colleagues,

Tumours and malignant cancers constitute a real life-threatening condition. Described as a serious perturbation of the normal architecture of a tissue or an organ caused by disorder in cell proliferation, tumours (cancers) have become a central hotspot for research. There is not only one cause for tumour development, but a complexity of several factors involved in interactions are responsible for tumour and cancer occurence. These factors include genetic, environmental, and constitutional characteristics of an individual. Tumour and cancer preventive screening and early detection constitute one, but the first approach to get rid or mitigate occurence of benign, premalignant and malignant tumours.

In this section, we welcome original articles, reviews, mini-reviews, case reports, clinical trials, opinions, and method articles related, but not limited to benign, premalignant, and cancerous tumours, characterization of tumour environment, tumorigenesis, tumour biomarkers, tumour diagnosis, prevention and treatment strategies.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
