Dear Colleagues,

Micro and nanostructure materials exhibit many interesting properties and phenomena which is directly related to device applications. Synthesis and fabrication of these materials for their effective applications in different fields requires a focus investigation on the materials characteristics and properties. Development of advanced charcterization and fabrication tecniques makes this field of research more interesting and significant for cross-disciplinary science enginnering and technologies study. Materials of such nature can be classified based on their origin, function, nature of bonding, processing technique and also on the basis of their applicatiions. Advanced manufacturing technique can be used for the syntheis of new nanostructured materials for specific applications and performace of thye materials can be explored using different charcteriztaion tools and technique. These materials shows different properties and function due to different fabrication technique and diversity of the materials. It is very difficult to get the information of the materials from a single source for specific application. Therefore the aim of this specific collection volume is to provide an overview of different types of micro and nanostructure materials which includes  synthesis, characterization, fabrication and application materials. Authorss research covering topics such as deisgn and development principles, materials and systems, advanced techniques, structural elements of materials and properties, relationships among processing, properties and performance, types of materials for structual, electrical, magnetic , optical and many more applications will included in this volume.
