Dr. Hamid Sharif Nia is an Associate Professor in Nursing Department at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences, Sari, Iran. He was born in Tehran, in 1981. He obtained his Ph.D. in nursing on 2014 in Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences. His dissertation was The experience of death anxiety in Iranian war veterans: a phenomenology study. He has been teaching medical surgical nursing at undergraduate level. Also, he has been teaching in the field of principles of scale development in health science, Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling, Research Methodology, and Statistical procedures. He has also collaborated actively with researchers in several countries such as USA, UK, Australia, Brazilian, Singapore, Malaysia, and Turkey. He has received several Awards in the research field such as Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences Research Award in 2013 and 2020, Mazandaran Province Award in 2015, and Outstanding Researcher: 1st Iranian researcher festival. He has presented several papers in national conferences and published sixteen books in the fields health and research methodology. Hamid published more than 270 research papers in prestigious journals. Finally he involved as a supervisor or advisor in 200 research projects. |
