The exacerbation of climate change impacts within metropolitan areas is a well-documented phenomenon, often leading to severe consequences that pose significant risks to human populations. The impact of urban vegetation and planting design on these factors can be observed. However, it is worth mentioning that while there is an extensive body of literature on the consequences of climate change, there is a relatively small number of studies specifically focused on examining the role of vegetation as a mitigating factor in urban environments. This review paper aims to critically examine existing studies pertaining to the role of urban vegetation in mitigating the detrimental effects of the urban environment. The objective is to offer practical recommendations that can be implemented by city planners. By conducting a comprehensive examination of the literature available in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, employing specific keywords pertaining to urban vegetation and climate change, we have identified five prominent concerns pertaining to the urban environment. These concerns encompass particulate matter, gaseous pollution, noise pollution, water runoff, and the urban heat island effect. The present analysis highlights that the impact of urban vegetation on the negative consequences of climate change cannot be unequivocally classified as either positive or negative. This is due to the fact that the influence of urban greenery is intricately connected to factors such as the arrangement, makeup, and dispersion of vegetation, as well as the specific management criteria employed. Hence, this research has the potential to enhance comprehension of the multifaceted nature of urban green spaces and establish a solid groundwork for subsequent investigations.
With global economic transformation and environmental sustainability increasingly taking center stage, the role of the digital economy (DE) becomes particularly critical in corporate green technology innovation (GTI). Based on the data of Chinese A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2011 to 2020, this paper explores the interactive effects of DE and GTI and the mechanism role of data resources (DR) in them, as well as conducts in-depth analyses for different regional and city characteristics. The main findings are as follows: First, DE significantly promotes the process of GTI. Second, from the perspective of regional differences, the promotion effect of DE on green technology innovation is particularly prominent in the eastern and central regions. And analyzed from the city level, its positive effect is most significant in the second-tier cities but shows a negative effect in the fourth and fifth-tier cities. Further examined from the perspective of resource dependence, DE inhibits green technology innovation in resource-based cities while showing a significant facilitating effect in non-resource-based cities. Third, DE can further promote green technology innovation by enhancing firms’ DR. Fourth, the study reveals the threshold effect of DR in this relationship: when DR < 2.5649, DE presents an inhibitory effect on green technological innovation, while its promotional effect begins to appear when 2.5649 ≤ DR < 4.2767, and the promotional effect of DE on GTI becomes more obvious when DR ≥ 4.2767.

Abstract
The modern city based on the principle of anthropocentrism has caused many urban environmental problems, resulting in the contradiction between man and nature gradually developing into a state of binary opposition, and promoting the urban ecosystem to be on the verge of danger. On the basis of deep reflection on modern urban environmental problems, eco city construction came into being and developed rapidly. Eco city is an urban development model to solve the current urban environmental crisis and realize the harmonious coexistence between man and nature, man and man, man and societyeco city has internal consistency with environmental ethics, which contains the environmental ethics of non anthropocentrism, sustainable development and environmental justice, environmental ethics guides the construction of ecological city and is an important support for the construction of ecological city. First of all, environmental ethical values such as environmental ethical values, environmental ethical codes of ethics and environmental ethical beliefs provide theoretical support for the construction of ecological citysecondly, environmental ethical practices such as ecological ethical culture, ecological moral education, low-carbon economic model and ecological ethical legal system provide practical support for the construction of ecological cities.

Abstract
According to the requirements of “two oriented” social development, this paper makes an empirical study on the construction performance of 13 prefecture level cities in Hunan Province from a low-carbon perspective by comparing the evaluation index systems of ecological city and low-carbon city. This paper compares and analyzes the changes of 13 prefecture level cities in four aspects: economic development, social development, resource conservation and environmental protection. Before and after Hunan Province became the experimental area of “two oriented” social reform, the results show that in terms of urban economy, 13 cities show a development model of high in the East and low in the west, especially the economic development of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration is significantly faster than that of other prefecture level cities. In terms of urban society, compared with other aspects, the change gap is the smallest, among which Changsha is the fastest and Zhangjiajie is the slowest. In terms of urban resources, the overall level changes greatly compared with other parts. Among them, Changsha, Shaoyang and other cities consume less resources, while Loudi, Yueyang and other cities in the old industrial base consume more resources. In terms of urban environment, most urban environments have improved. In general, the construction of “two oriented cities” in 13 prefecture level cities in Hunan Province has improved in terms of economy, society, resources and environment, but there is still great room for improvement, especially in infrastructure construction, scientific and technological level, utilization rate of “three wastes” and urban environmental governance capacity.

Abstract
Eco city and livable city are urban development strategies formulated by people in pursuit of higher quality of life after foreign social and economic development reaches a certain stage. They are also important development strategies for China and other developing countries to correct the disadvantages caused by the rapid development of urbanization in time and realize urban transformation. As we all know, China’s urbanization process has a great influence on the world in the 21st century. As one of the important strategies affecting the healthy and sustainable development of urbanization, the theory and practice process of eco livable city will become a typical model with Chinese characteristics.

Abstract
Aiming at the problems existing in the current evaluation of low-carbon ecological city, based on the comprehensive interpretation of the scientific law of the development of low-carbon ecological city, this paper distinguishes the path index and evaluation index, constructs the evaluation index system of low-carbon ecological city according to the evaluation index, adopts the quadrant method, establishes a set of technical methods for the evaluation of low-carbon ecological city based on the development law and development stage, and makes an empirical analysis with Shandong Province as an example. The results show that Shandong has crossed the peak of the inverted U-shaped curve of carbon emission intensity, but it is still in the rising period on the left of per capita carbon emission and total carbon emission; According to the situation of each city, there are 10 cities of high-carbon development type. Most cities have entered the critical period of low-carbon ecological transformation and development. The high low-carbon index of some cities has a great relationship with the low level of economic development, and they are in the primary development stage of low-carbon and low economy.

Abstract
Ecological land construction is a specific elaboration of the ecological civilization of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the new era. By discussing the internal relationship between ecological land construction and ecological civilization strategy, this paper clarifies the importance of ecological land construction; summarizes the practical experience of ecological land construction in typical key areas/urban areas, and puts forward four considerations for my country’s future ecological land construction. On the basis of practice, combined with my country’s basic national conditions and development trends, put forward the core content and key tasks of ecological land construction in the new era, and put forward a timetable and roadmap for strengthening top-level design and steady progress.

Abstract
By constructing the comprehensive evaluation index system of eco cities, this paper evaluates and analyzes the development trend of eco city in Jinan during the 12th Five Year Plan period. The results show that the comprehensive level of eco city in Jinan shows a steady development trend and is at the “healthy” level from 2011 to 2015. However, the change degree of various indicators affecting the development of eco city is different. Among them, the ecological economy shows a rapid development trend, the ecological society shows a slow development trend, and the ecological environment shows a shock change of decline in the early stage and recovery in the later stage, which has become the main factor affecting the promotion of eco city in the whole city. According to the evaluation results, this paper discusses the problems existing in the development of eco city and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for weak links, in order to provide important reference for promoting the construction of local ecological civilization and system reform and improving the level of urban ecological development.
