Bio Statement
Dr. Mustafa Saeed Ahmed Shalaby is an Assistant Professor and Senior Researcher in the Solid State Physics Department at the National Center for Radiation Research and Technology (NCRRT), Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority, Egypt. He holds a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics and Smart Materials from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, and an M.Sc. in Solid State Physics - Superconductivity from Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Shalaby's research focuses on high-temperature superconductors (BSCCO) with various dopants for enhanced critical current density, investigating structure-property relationships in cuprate superconductors using advanced characterization techniques, and the effects of radiation and nanomaterial additions on superconducting properties. He has published several papers in the field of superconductivity and is currently leading a research project on "Cuprates-doped high Tc-superconductors with critical current density enhancement: PIXE & RBS ion beam investigations." Dr. Shalaby's expertise includes the synthesis of BSCCO-type high-temperature superconductors, advanced characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, and SQUID magnetometry, and the development of custom equipment for superconductor preparation and testing.
